Suena interesante.

Chachi...

Re: SYMBiFACE III en desarrollo
Yes, but the video was from SF2. The SF3 seems to use other I/O ports as far as I did read.

Good thing is that now we have plenty of hardware expansions. In the late 90ies and 2000's was not much to get.

Re: SYMBiFACE III en desarrollo
Just a comment about the SF2. Today the story is not told so true. We had a team back the day to develop the SF2. However PDT finally prefinanced the whole first batch of the SF2 production.
Also there was never a SF1. The predecessor was the CPC-IDE. It's hardware (like the SF2) was made by Dr.Zed. This guy I brought over to the CPC and we made the FuturePlayer, the CPC-IDE came later on. Also I brought Tolkin and Octoate in the team (all had a IDE prototype). So the idea was to focus on one card and not to have too many different solutions. PDT joined the team later and helped financially to realize the SF2, which could have been even better, but at this time Dr. Zed and PDT decided to do it alone. We other kind of still feel it was somehow a dirty story, but one can't live in the past. So I hope that the SF3 will be awesome and will provide information for coders too.

Re: SYMBiFACE III en desarrollo
We had some hard-drive projects running at that time. I remember a CPC-Isa that would have allowed to connect an IDE controller to the CPC, among other ISA cards -and there was also a plan to clone the Dobbertin hard drive using up-to-date electronics and recycling X-DDOS into it. Symbiface II was the succesful one and it worked flawlessly; had you taken part in its development have produced a different outcome, I am sure -and you had the chance to 'fork' that project with the members that remained, isn't it?. But as you say, I wouldn't stuck in the past, evenmore when Prodatron is not reading this topic, so he can not tell his side :DAlso there was never a SF1. The predecessor was the CPC-IDE. Btw, when TFM refers to 'PDT' he means Prodatron. I think spanish users would not know him by that alias, and for castellano speakers PDT does not sound very good: if you read it straight on, it means "small fart" xD

Well, I'm confident he is reading everything CPC. And in this case I'm also pretty sure that he has the same opinion. But back to topic, the SF3 is evolving pretty quick and I'm happy to see a release next year.I am sure -and you had the chance to 'fork' that project with the members that remained, isn't it?. But as you say, I wouldn't stuck in the past, evenmore when Prodatron is not reading this topic, so he can not tell his side
Also, I already created functions for FutureOS to upload it into the SF3 and to deal with its Read-Time-Clock (they are not tested of course).
